Lindsey Larson

Director of Nursing

Working at Ruthven Community Care Center allows me to fulfill my passion of working with the elderly in long term care.  I enjoy working with the residents, their families, and our staff.  Our team here at RCCC is caring, compassionate, and a wonderful team to be a part of.  We live in a small community and are like a close family here and makes everyone feel welcomed.  Ruthven Community Care Center is truly a great place to be.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Tyler and our dog, Rosco.

MDS Coordinator

I have been a nurse for 12 years. Nursing is my passion. I’m appreciated for my time and what I do for others, it gives me a different perspective, and I love making a difference in my patients’ and their families lives. I enjoy my co- workers at RCCC. Everyone is kind, helpful and positive. On my time off, I enjoy spending time with family. I have 3 daughters and a new baby boy. We love to travel, swim, go on boat rides, going to parks, and watching tv shows together.

QA/Infection Control

Working at RCCC is truly a pleasure. Geriatrics have my entire heart and I can’t imagine a better group of residents and tenants to spend my days with.

Outside of work I spend my time with my little guy, Huntley. We very much so enjoy all things outdoors, especially boating and the beach. We also love to walk the trails and go for bike rides. Any time spent with family is time well spent. I just try to enjoy every day we are blessed with, at home and at work. Positive outlook = positive life.

Katie Page

Activity Director/Social Service

I’ve worked in long term care for over 18 years. I became a CNA when I was in high school. I am a Restorative Aide, Medication Aide, Certified Preceptor, Alzheimer’s Certified and now Director of Activities. My husband Mike and I have been married for 7 years. We have 3 children. My heart has always been in long term care most likely because I am drawn to people in general.
Ruthven Community Care Center is not just a “place to work” there is a feeling here between staff members and residents; a feeling of compassion and understanding. We really are a family here. Everyone at RCCC goes out of there way to make sure that not only the residents are comfortable and happy, but other staff members as well. I often refer to a shift as our 8 hours to shine. Everyday we have the opportunity to make someone else’s life a little better just by taking the opportunity to make them smile.

Scott Kessler

Administrator
I began as the Administrator at the Ruthven Community Care Center campus on January 18, 2021.  I have worked in long-term care for the past 24 years.  I have been a licensed Nursing Home Administrator the past six years in facilities located in Minnesota, South Dakota and now in Iowa.

I enjoy working at RCCC because of my heart and passion to continue working with the resident's, their families and the staff.

I want to make sure that Ruthven Community Care Center, the Assisted Living and the Independent Living are the facilities of choice.
