Testimonials:

I have some knowledge of  Organizational Climate and Organizational Culture, I would rate both the Organizational Climate and Organizational Culture at RCCC as excellent.

This excellence doesn't happen by accident. My guess is, that it starts with the Board setting high expectations that are reinforced by the administration and permeate the entire staff. Fabulous!!! What a gift to the residents.

"Everyone who has worked with Sandy has been especially good to him. We as a family appreciate the care he has received. We chose RCCC because we knew it was good in so many ways. Also, many of Sandy’s friends were here. We are very happy and would highly recommend RCCC to others."—Family of Sandy Salton

I have worked at the Ruthven Community Care Center for 8 years.  I started as a dishwasher and a dietary aide, then a cook.  I am Serve Safe Certified, and I am currently enrolled at UND to get my CDM and become a Certified Dietary Manager.  Every day is something new. I enjoy the challenge of creating new options and menus, to make RCCC a more “home” like setting.  The residents become a part of your family, and that’s what I love.  My husband, 3 kids and I reside here in Ruthven, we enjoy being a part of this Community!

I have been a nurse for over 25 years.  Most of that experience has been in long term care.  I started out years ago as a CNA, so I feel I have a solid base of experience.  I have been an ADON, DON, and MDS nurse for years.  I also have been a consult with attorneys in LTC litigation cases.

Was born and raised in Estherville, Iowa.  I am married to my husband Steve for 34 yearss and we live on a farm East of Terril.  We have 2 sons who are grown and raised and live in the area.

I look forward to belonging to a productive, progressive team here at RCCC and can't wait to assist in growth and improvement while "Basking" in a great environment!

I started at the Ruthven Community Care Center 21 months ago.  I like working here because of the residents and staff.  I grew up on a farm about 7 miles south of Ruthven.  I moved to Ruthven in 1979, when I married Robert (Butch) Grund.  We opened our business in town in 1980, B&G Auto Body.  I worked there for 28 years.  We have three children and two grandchildren.  I was on the ambulance as an EMT for 5 years.  I worked as an aide for 3 years before I got married and enjoyed helping the residents in the nursing home.  I enjoy being a part of the RCCC staff.

I have worked at the Ruthven Community Care Center for 10 years. I am originally from Ruthven and know several of our residents personally. I joined the U.S. Navy right out of high school and retired in 1999 after 20 years of service. After my retirement I moved back to Ruthven with my daughter Megan. I enjoy being around our residents and being able to assist them in their daily needs. I am also very active in the American Legion Post 33 and a volunteer on the Ruthven Ambulance squad.
